                                                    China World Hotel, Beijing announces the appointment of Johan Chan as director of sales and marketing. Hailing
                                                    from Hong Kong, Mr Chan is a veteran in the hospitality industry. He has nearly 30 years of working experience
                                                    in various high-profile luxury hotels, including 20 years at Shangri-La properties throughout Hong Kong, Malaysia,
                                                    Thailand and mainland China. He is no stranger to China World Hotel, Beijing, where he was posted from 2002 to

                                                    2004. Prior to re-joining the Beijing hotel, he was director of sales and marketing at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.
