           7 月 29 日至 8 月 2 日，北京市气象局连发 7 道暴雨红色预警。国贸防汛领导小
           组即刻启动防汛应急管理方案，国贸物业各系统工程师、主管和员工于周末期
           间到岗 430 余人，参与防汛一线工作。各系统人员每 2 小时一轮换持续对楼宇
           各个角落进行巡查，做好 24 小时不间断应急处置工作，保障了国贸中心的正常
           运营。

           8 月 2 日，由于房山区部分居民小区停水停电导致电动抽水泵无法工作，国贸物
           业接到支援房山区防汛抢险的号召后，紧急抽调 2 台汽油抽水泵并委派专业员
           工前往房山区乐汇家园支援抗洪一线。员工们克服地下配电室、机房空间狭小、
           水深至膝、排水管线长度不够等困难，采用两台机器接力、人员轮流作业等方式，
           从下午 5 点不间断奋战到深夜 10 点，终于完成受灾居民楼配电室、设备室的抢
           险工作。
           面对严峻汛情，国贸物业全体员工积极主动，闻“汛”而动、向险而行，以实
           际行动践行了国贸员工的奉献精神。                                                   Seven consecutive red alerts were issued by the Beijing Meteorological Service between
                                                                              July 29 and August 2 as thunderstorms battered the capital city.
                                                                              Staff from China World Trade Center Property Division responded proactively to the
                                                                              challenges as more than 430 system engineers, managers and staff initiated the
                                                                              emergency contingency plan to safe-guard the buildings in the compound against
                                                                              flooding. Staff worked 2-hour shifts round the clock, checking on nooks and crannies of
                                                                              the buildings to ensure normal operations.
                                                                              Then on August 2, the Fangshan District authorities contacted China World with an
                                                                              urgent request for help after two electric water pumps failed in Lehui Jiayuan estate.
                                                                              The Property Division immediately sent staff over with two gasoline water-pumps to support
                                                                              authorities on the front line for flood prevention and rescue. Working relentlessly from 5pm till
                                                                              10 pm, the China World employees overcame complex challenges and thoroughly inspected
                                                                              the electricity distribution room and facilities. The China World spirit of “giving back to
                                                                              society” and “helping others” are personified in the actions of these front-line warriors!
