           夏宫美食探寻记



           A CULINARY ADVENTURE



           AT SUMMER PALACE





           热爱美食的你,会不会常常在品尝到佳肴时,有亲自动手做菜的冲动?每每尝
           到自己制作的美味,那种自豪感总会油然而生。2018 年 1 月 12 日,夏宫中餐
           行政总厨陈坚师傅邀请了一群热爱美食的朋友,亲自教授两道拿手好菜,让朋
           友们在厨房中,探寻美食的真谛。
           Do you love to cook? Those who love food and who also love to cook often take
           pride in their dishes, particularly when inviting friends over for meals. On January 12,
           2018, Executive Chinese Chef Kenny Chan, invited a group of friends who love food
           and personally taught them how to prepare two dishes. It was an opportunity for
           them to learn techniques as well as experience the essence of cooking good food.


                                                                                                    为了迎接朋友们的到来,陈师傅一早做好了准备,从
                                                                                                    餐具到食材,每一个细节都不放过。
                                                                                                    上午 10:00,朋友们陆续到达后厨,在简单介绍了今
                                                                                                    天要做的菜肴后,便开启了美食的探寻之旅。
                                                                                                    Chef Chan started preparations early in the morning,
                                                                                                    getting cooking utensils, cutlery and ingredients ready
                                                                                                    prior to the arrival of friends.
                                                                                                    Chef Chan’s friends arrived at 10am and after a brief
                                                                                                    introduction, the culinary journey commenced.























           第一道菜:黑松露烤菜花,第二道菜:
           铁锅山药烧鲜鲍。
           每一道菜陈师傅都会先亲自示范做法,
           然后让每位朋友都上手试一试,从烹饪
           到摆盘,从品尝到分享心得,每位朋友
           都乐在其中。
           The first dish: Roasted Cauliflower with
           Black Truffle, the second dish: Braised
           Fresh Abalone with Yam.
           Chef Chan personally demonstrated how to
           prepare each dish and thereafter provided
           guidance as each friend attempted to cook
           the dish themselves. There was much to
           experience and the atmosphere was one of
           exploration and enjoyment.
